I remember being a part of Benjamin Brittan’s production of Noye’s Fludde ( Noah’s Flood) performed at the Town Hall, it was either late 60’s or early 70’s. Children from Middlesbrough schools participated. I was part of the section in the choir that sang the chant ” Kirie eleison” and the song “Alleluia”. The acoustics were amazing as I recall. There were people who wore head dresses of animals that went into the ark. Parents came to watch the performance, it was pretty spectacular.
