Ant Butler

Not quite my first gig, but some memorable ones like: David Bowie – the Ziggy Stardust tour 1972. After the utterly brilliant show, Bowie and Mick Ronson chatted to the handful of teenagers still in the hall as the roadies were packing up – DB even autographed a female fan’s upper torso with her lipstick (all very unsettling for the 15 year-old rock fan!). Other memorable early 1970s gigs included Wishbone Ash, Mott the Hoople and Arthur Brown’s Kingdom Come – brilliant shows.
